1/2 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups white sugar
2 eggs, room temperature
1 teaspoon butter flavored extract
four tablespoons pink meals coloring
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup buttermilk, room temperature
1 teaspoon salt
2 half cups sifted all-function flour
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1 teaspoon baking soda
Cream Cheese Frosting:
1/2 cup butter, room temperature
1 (eight ounce) package deal cream cheese, room temperature
four cups confectioners’ sugar, sifted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- To Make Cream Cheese Frosting: beat butter and cream cheese with an electrical mixer till clean. Progressively beat in confectioners’ sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Combine till properly blended.
