Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 levels F (one hundred seventy five levels C). Grease and flour two 9-inch spherical pans.
- Beat shortening and sugar till mild and fluffy. Add eggs separately, mixing till absolutely included. Stir in butter flavoring. Make a paste with meals coloring and cocoa and add to the shortening combination.
- Combine buttermilk, salt, baking soda and vinegar; add to batter alternating with the flour combination.

- To Make Cream Cheese Frosting: beat butter and cream cheese with an electrical mixer till clean. Progressively beat in confectioners’ sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Combine till properly blended.
